Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time 3 shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate 1:1 care during active labors, inductions, and C-sections
Safely recover mothers and transition newborns with thorough assessments
Manage couplet care and newborn stabilization with precision and warmth
Handle OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage confidently
Collaborate with a tight-knit team in LDRP, NICU, and OBED settings
Perform daily patient rounding to ensure exceptional experiences

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
2+ years of labor and delivery experience
Charge nurse experience required
BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training certifications

Education

RN degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and inductions with Pitocin or cervidil
Proficiency in C-sections, circumcisions, and assisted deliveries
Strong handling of OB emergencies and newborn assessments
Comfort with Meditech documentation and unit equipment like IV pumps and infant warmers
