Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to oncology and women's surgical patients on a 24-bed unit
- Monitor and manage patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 for personalized attention
- Perform procedures like occasional pelvic exams, echoes, and thoracentesis with precision
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of RNs, CNAs, and support staff
- Utilize Cerner EMR to ensure seamless documentation and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- 2 years of experience
- Team player attitude with eagerness to learn
- Chemo Certification preferred to hit the ground running
Education
- RN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Oncology nursing expertise
- Med-surg unit proficiency
- Standard unit equipment handling
- Patient-focused care in fast-paced settings
