Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care in a high-volume Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center ED
Manage patient ratios of 4:1 typically, supporting medical and behavioral hold cases
Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and triage teams for seamless operations
Utilize Cerner documentation to ensure accurate patient records
Float within all ED sections while embracing a teamwork mentality
Coach and provide real-time feedback to enhance team performance

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start, ENPC within 90 days
2+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER
Teamwork mindset and flexibility to work all ED areas

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Experience in Level 2 trauma centers and high-volume EDs over 100,000 visits
Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing
Advanced procedural skills in emergency settings
Previous HCA experience preferred
