Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Mixed shifts 6:00 AM - 9:30 PM, rotating every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous drug compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
Prepare IVs with precision, especially for peds and NICU patients, making a real difference in young lives
Utilize cutting-edge tech like Pyxis and DoseEdge to streamline pharmacy operations
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 450+ providers to deliver top-tier care
Support the hospital's mission as a Joint Commission Top Performer in key quality measures

Qualifications

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
Active Florida license
2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience
IV experience including peds/NICU preparation
Neonatal and pediatric experience preferred

Education

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding expertise
Non-sterile and hazardous drug compounding
IV preparation for pediatrics and NICU
Familiarity with Pyxis MedStation, DoseEdge, and Meditech systems
