Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, weekends as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and families about respiratory care and discharge
Step up for reassignments to other units when the team needs you most
Share your clinical expertise as a role model for staff and students
Plan, implement, and evaluate effective respiratory care treatments
Deliver physician-ordered respiratory care while staying in close communication with medical and nursing teams

Qualifications

Hold an active RRT certification
Possess an Illinois Respiratory Therapist license
Maintain current BLS certification
Have NRP-MHC certification
Ready to embrace night shifts and weekends as required

Education

Associate's degree required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical knowledge in respiratory therapy
Excellent patient education and communication skills
Team collaboration and adaptability
Proficiency in evaluating and modifying care plans
