Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient assessments and create personalized care plans that make a real difference
• Administer medications and treatments with precision while closely monitoring patient progress
• Educate patients and families on their health journey, empowering them for successful outcomes
• Collaborate seamlessly with providers and team members to ensure smooth continuity of care
• Document meticulously in Cerner EHR to support top-notch patient safety and readmission prevention
• Mentor fellow nurses and champion continuous learning in a dynamic med-surg environment

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• Current AHA BLS certification, plus ACLS and PALS (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• Cerner EHR experience to hit the ground running
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Education

• BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient assessment, care planning, and nursing interventions
• Proficient medication administration, IV therapy, and patient monitoring
• Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation and age-specific care
• Comfortable with infusion pumps, SBAR handoffs, and infection prevention practices
