Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation, float to ER

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and manage infusion pumps with confidence
Administer medications and titrate critical drips like Insulin, Heparin and Levophed
Read and document tele strips on Mindray monitors
Manage respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP and high-flow
Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurse and team in a family-like Critical Access Hospital
Float to ER when needed to support the community

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
NIHSS and TNCC preferred if ER experience
Confident and reliable with strong social skills and teamwork

Education

BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in assessments, medication administration and infusion pumps
Proficiency titrating drips and reading tele strips
Experience with common diagnoses like CHF, A-fib and falls
Teamwork in fast-paced Critical Access settings
ER experience preferred
