Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw blood from patients with precision and care, making a real difference in their diagnostic journey
Label and handle specimens accurately to ensure reliable lab results
Maintain sterile environments and follow safety protocols to protect everyone involved
Assist in patient preparation and provide comforting support during procedures
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver top-notch medical services

Qualifications

Active Phlebotomy certification
Current state licensure where required
Experience in venipuncture and capillary punctures
BLS certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of accredited phlebotomy training program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in phlebotomy techniques including PHLEB core skills
Strong patient interaction and communication abilities
Attention to detail for accurate specimen handling
Knowledge of medical terminology and safety standards
