Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, holiday rotation, float to ER

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments to catch issues early
Administer medications and manage infusion pumps with confidence
Titrate critical drips like Insulin, Heparin, and Levophed
Read and document tele strips on Mindray monitors
Manage respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
Float to ER when needed, wearing many hats in this dynamic CAH
Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurse, and team for top-notch care

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
NIHSS and TNCC preferred if ER experienced
Confident and reliable with a team-player attitude

Education

RN licensure required, BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in assessments, medication administration, and infusion pumps
Strong social skills and teamwork in a family-like setting
Proficiency reading tele strips and titrating drips
Familiarity with common conditions like CHF, A-fib, falls, and bowel obstructions
ER experience preferred but first-time travelers welcome
