Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate direct patient care by rooming patients and capturing vital signs with precision
• Document symptoms, frequencies, and severities accurately in electronic medical records to support top-notch care
• Administer injections and immunizations as ordered, making a real difference in patient health
• Assist during medical procedures and track test results to ensure seamless regulatory compliance
• Perform POCT with quality controls and manage communications like lab results and referrals efficiently
• Maintain pristine patient areas through disinfection, sterilization, autoclave use, and supply inventory
• Collaborate with your team on projects while staying cool under pressure and upholding safety standards

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification from NHA or AMCA
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of medical assisting experience in a clinical setting
• High school diploma or GED

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Epic electronic medical records experience preferred
• Re-processing and procedural expertise a big plus
• Proficiency in vital signs, injections, POCT, instrument sterilization, and autoclave operation
• Strong communication for patient education, referrals, and prescription management
