Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time physical therapy to a diverse population from pediatric to geriatric clients across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, home care, and community outreach services in a hospital-based outpatient clinic
• Travel to villages to extend care to remote Alaskan communities
• Adhere to Physical Therapy standards, JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies while applying age-specific and culturally sensitive care
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, medical staff, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Licensed in good standing in Alaska as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification
• Hospital-based experience preferred

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills to connect with diverse cultures, including non-English speakers
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations
• Mathematical proficiency for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
• Problem-solving expertise in variable situations with limited standardization
• Equipment handling including hi-lo tables, whirlpool, therapeutic exercise tools, ultrasound, and electric stimulation
