Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms to provide timely, high-quality patient care
• Deliver compassionate acute-care nursing interventions for telemetry patients
• Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Respond rapidly to clinical emergencies and escalate care as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered plans
• Float across the assigned 60-mile zone as needed to meet unit needs and maintain continuity of care
• Participate in orientation and maintain required certifications to ensure competency

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure appropriate for practice in Utah (or compact license as applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (telemetry/acute care experience preferred)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Comfort and ability to float within a 60-mile zone; valid driver’s license (DL must be submitted)
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain clinical excellence during 12-hour rotations

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma accepted
• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Proficient use of EPIC for documentation and care coordination
• Stroke assessment knowledge (NIHSS) and related workflows
• ACLS and BLS emergency response skills
• Adaptability to float between units and maintain efficient workflow
• Familiarity with acute care practices in a level 3 trauma setting
