Location: Smethport, PA

Start Date: 05-18-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, schedule to be determined (12-hour shifts; facility will confirm specific start/end times)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients thoroughly and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and according to protocol
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions
Advocate for patients and families with compassion and clear communication
Document care accurately in the patient record and support quality initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (must be current)
Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications encouraged
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and adapting to rotating schedules
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication skills
Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation
Infection control best practices and safety protocols
Team collaboration, time management, and patient advocacy
