Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions with clinical judgment
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Document patient status, interventions and outcomes clearly and timely
Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license (PA) or ability to obtain prior to start
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred where applicable
Comfortable and experienced with 12-hour shift work
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient advocacy mindset

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing process, standards of care and patient safety practices
Skill in medication administration, IV therapy and documentation
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
Ability to respond to emergencies and use clinical judgment under pressure
Customer-service orientation and ability to support patients and families
