Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday requirements, plus possible call or standby if low census
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to postpartum mothers and newborns during their transition
- Manage magnesium drips for patients with preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders
- Monitor and support patients with gestational diabetes, high BMI, and substance use disorders
- Collaborate with OB and neonatology teams available 24/7 for seamless care
- Float to L&D when needed to assist with normal newborn transition
- Follow AWHONN guidelines to deliver safe, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington or compact license
- NRP and BLS certifications required
- Experience with newborn transition and post-delivery magnesium management
- Comfortable titrating magnesium drips and working with high-risk OB patients
Knowledge & Skills
- Newborn transition support
- Post-delivery magnesium management
- Caring for patients with preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use disorders
- Working with multiples and advanced maternal age patients
- Using Centricity Perinatal EFM system
