Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 27-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, dietitians, and educators
Float within similar levels of care to support teammates and broaden your clinical experience
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred
First-time travelers welcome with a passion for oncology care

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
EPIC electronic medical record experience
Alaris IV pump proficiency
Strong teamwork and patient advocacy mindset
