Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform independent vaginal exams and confidently place internal monitors
Circulate and recover C-section patients while maintaining excellent outcomes
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to Mother-Baby unit and other departments as census requires
Monitor and interpret fetal strips with ACLS and AFM expertise
Collaborate with 24/7 OB/Neonatologist and Anesthesia teams for seamless care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk obstetrics and fetal monitoring
Ability to work independently with vaginal exams and internal monitor placement
Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Labor and Delivery expertise with high-risk obstetrics focus
Fetal monitoring and antepartum care proficiency
Postpartum couplet care experience
Cerner electronic medical record system
Confident with magnesium, Pitocin, insulin, and heparin titration
