Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' function through formal and informal testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
Develop personalized, goal-specific treatment plans based on thorough assessments and patient tolerance
Coordinate and update comprehensive plans of care with physicians and clinical teams
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment options, and recovery expectations
Delegate appropriate tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides while maintaining quality care standards

Qualifications

Active Michigan Physical Therapist License required
Outpatient physical therapy experience required
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
Patient assessment and care planning
Treatment plan development and modification
Patient and family education strategies
Documentation and compliance standards
