Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts, every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority, 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby units
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections when needed
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, and Labetalol
Monitor fetal strips and interpret telemetry to ensure safe outcomes
Respond swiftly to obstetrical emergencies including hypertension and hemorrhage
Collaborate with OB Techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Ability to titrate IV drips and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced L&D setting

Knowledge & Skills

Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby nursing expertise
OR circulating and scrubbing skills for C-sections
Fetal monitoring and telemetry interpretation
IV drip titration and medication management
Emergency response for obstetrical complications
