Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday rotating every other weekend or full weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotics
Collaborate with a tight-knit surgical team in an 8-suite OR handling 5-30 cases daily
Support robotic procedures using the DaVinci Xi system with confidence and precision
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as needed to ensure seamless patient care
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support after-hours emergencies and trauma cases

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of OR experience
BLS certification required
Previous travel experience preferred
Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotics and a wide range of surgical cases
Comfortable floating between two nearby campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures
Familiarity with Surgical Information Systems similar to Cerner or EPIC
Ability to handle call and respond within 30 minutes
Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
