Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Monitor and titrate drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to patient changes with confidence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support patient experience goals through clear communication and responsiveness

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency managing arterial lines
Strong telemetry interpretation and titratable drip experience
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90 percent or higher
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications
Arterial line management
High-flow oxygen systems
Patient education and medication communication
Team collaboration and adaptability
