Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin to support safe deliveries
Support postpartum recovery by caring for mom-baby couplets with skill and empathy
Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections to ensure the safest outcomes for baby
Float to other units when needed to lend a helping hand and build strong cross-department relationships

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care
Experience with EFM systems and neonatal respiratory support equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller hospital environment
