End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with evening, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow in our four OR suites and GI endoscopy room
Prepare operating rooms and assist with robotic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, gynecologic, and podiatry cases
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly during on-call situations
Document accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with all safety and infection-control standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
Current BLS certification
Previous OR experience preferred
Robot and GI experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
