Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and patient care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and Da Vinci robotics
Collaborate closely with surgeons, OR techs, and the care team to ensure smooth procedures and patient safety
Float to pre/post op, PACU, or ER for trauma cases when trained and needed
Educate and support colleagues while sharing experiences to strengthen the team
Maintain flexibility to adapt to a varied daily surgical schedule

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams for each service line
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Driver's license required at submittal to verify 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Knowledge of neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and Da Vinci robotics procedures
Ability to function effectively across all service lines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to educate others and share clinical experiences
