Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and Da Vinci robotics
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, techs, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient procedures for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
• Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care across the facility
• Maintain flexibility as daily schedules shift and new cases arise
• Share knowledge and mentor teammates to foster a culture of continuous learning
• Uphold strict safety and infection-control standards, including the facility's no-artificial-nails policy

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience across multiple surgical specialties; comfort with both 3's and 4's in neuro cases
• Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90 percent
• Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm eligibility outside the 50-mile radius
• Willingness to comply with the facility's artificial-nail policy for patient-care areas

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Solid understanding of circulating in neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and robotic procedures
• Comfort working in a 7-OR, 2-endo-suite environment without specialized teams
• Ability to respond to trauma cases in the ER when floated
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
