Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
- Recognize and report dangerous arrhythmias to local nursing staff promptly
- Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
- Collaborate with the care team in a virtual hospital setting
- Accurately document rhythm changes and communicate effectively during emergencies
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail, one attempt only)
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a centralized monitoring unit
