Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units across both campuses, providing compassionate care to a variety of patients
Manage and titrate critical drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with charge nurses and nurse aids to deliver safe, high-quality care
Support post-procedural and cardiac patients, including groin site monitoring and post-MI recovery

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU experience
Comfortable managing multiple titratable drips and interpreting dysrhythmia strips
Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% or higher within two attempts before contract start

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen therapy
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
