Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and complex surgeries
Partner closely with patients and families to support healing and recovery every step of the way
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team for seamless care
Float to various MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellence in every setting
Champion patient safety by mastering sterile technique during Foley insertions and central line care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Comfortable with high-level communication and family involvement
Must pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab skills assessment

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care including TBI, CVA, and transplant recovery
Strong sterile field technique and infection prevention
Collaborative approach with physicians, therapists, and care teams
Flexibility to float across MedSurg units
