Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
Develop personalized therapy plans that help patients regain communication skills
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teams to deliver coordinated care
Document progress and adjust treatment strategies to maximize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on techniques to support continued recovery

Qualifications

Active California Speech Language Pathologist license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care speech therapy interventions
Ability to manage complex swallowing and communication disorders
Clear documentation and interdisciplinary communication
Patient-centered approach with excellent bedside manner
