Location: Redwood City, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend shifts may be required with a weekday off in exchange
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional physical therapy services across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
- Provide specialized care for ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage diverse caseloads including ortho, total joints, oncology, and cardiology patients
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and mobility
- Support patients through their entire hospital journey from admission to discharge
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in California
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
- Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, and ICU/ventilator management
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations across multiple units
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute care physical therapy across all hospital units
- Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
- ICU and ventilator patient management
- Cerner electronic medical records system
- Cardiology and cardiac surgery patient care
- Oncology and med-surg rehabilitation
