Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating schedule with no set pattern
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
- Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes to local nursing staff promptly
- Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety across multiple facilities
- Collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes and department metrics
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication during all shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms section (one attempt only)
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and commit to required weekend coverage
- Must be available for 2-3 days of day shift orientation for night shift positions
