Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with manager balance, 2 weekends per 4-week schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate telemetry monitoring and patient assessment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
- Interpret basic tele strips and dysrhythmias, signing documentation at least once per shift
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure seamless patient care
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, supporting the broader care team
- Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem while monitoring patient response
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Experience reading basic tele strips and interpreting dysrhythmias
- Some experience with CVA and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
- Total joint replacement experience preferred
