Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate social work services to patients in need
- Conduct involuntary 72-hour psychiatric evaluations under 5150 certification
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination
- Support patients and families through mental health challenges
- Complete thorough assessments and documentation
Qualifications
- Active California LCSW license required
- Current BLS certification
- 5150 certification in California required
- Prior Dignity Health experience mandatory
- Two supervisory references needed at time of application
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in psychiatric evaluation and crisis intervention
- Strong understanding of California mental health regulations
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a care coordination model
- Professional judgment in high-stakes mental health situations
