Registered Nurse - ED Holds/Tele
Location: Chandler, Arizona

End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to ED holds waiting for placement on med/surg/tele units
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
- Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
- Collaborate with the ED charge nurse and support staff to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and both CRMC and MGMC EDs as needed
- Assist with ED patient care tasks including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when requested
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past 6 months
- Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Ability to pass a RELIAS dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
- Willingness to complete a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- Cardiac drip titration including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
- ED holds and med/surg/tele patient care
- Floating between multiple campuses and units
- Self-scheduling and flexible shift management
