Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
- Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
- Monitor and manage patients on set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure seamless patient care
- Float to East Campus and PCU units when qualified to support team needs
- Deliver excellent care during total joint replacement recovery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some experience with CVA and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Care for cardiac, medical-surgical, and post-joint replacement patients
- Managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
- Using BiPAP, CPAP, and providing breathing treatments
- Working with Cerner electronic health record system
