Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
- Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units to support patient care across the facility
- Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
- Support patients and families through every stage of the oncology journey with empathy and respect
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC certification preferred
- Chemotherapy certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
- First-time travelers welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in PCU and oncology settings
- Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
- Proficiency with Alaris IV pumps and EPIC EMR
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population
- Team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for patient advocacy
