Location: Merced, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday schedule with possible 10-hour shifts for PT travelers; weekend coverage split Wednesday-Sunday and Sunday-Wednesday
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans that truly make a difference
- Support patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary conditions with evidence-based interventions
- Float between inpatient acute care and outpatient settings to expand your clinical expertise
- Contribute to early mobility programs and stroke-certified care initiatives that improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapist license required
- BLS certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Willingness to float between inpatient and outpatient settings
- Open to both 8-hour and 10-hour shift schedules
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities across orthopedic, neurological, and medical diagnoses
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric inpatient populations
- Flexibility to adapt to various clinical settings including acute care and outpatient
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams
