Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring skills
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
- Float to same-level units to support patient care needs while maintaining excellent outcomes
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives to ensure every patient feels valued
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- Chemotherapy administration certification required
- First-time travelers welcome with strong foundational skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
- Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, EV-1000)
- ICP monitoring and titration of insulin and cardizem drips
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, adaptability, and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
