Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics cases
Collaborate with a skilled surgical team in a fast-paced 16-suite operating room handling an average of 30 cases daily
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse support is needed
Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system
Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise to support seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven trauma and neuro experience in the operating room
Charge nurse experience preferred
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of trauma and neuro surgical procedures
Comfortable working in a high-volume OR environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
Flexible and adaptable when floating within the zone
