End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied 8-hour shifts including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care to acute care patients across med-surg, tele, ICU, oncology, and cardiology units
Provide specialized treatment for ortho and total joint patients to help them regain mobility and independence
Support ventilated patients in the ICU with tailored therapy interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
Document patient progress accurately using the Cerner EMR system
Adapt to varied patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Hands-on experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, ventilated patients, med-surg, oncology, and cardiology populations
Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills across multiple specialties
Ability to manage complex patients including those on ventilators
Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and rehab techs
Comfort working varied shift times and occasional weekends or holidays
Quick learner who can thrive with minimal orientation
