Location: Williston, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital signs to ensure the safest outcomes
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing adaptability and broad clinical skills
Collaborate with the care team to follow quality metrics and deliver excellent patient experiences
Support families through every stage of the birthing journey with empathy and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking in obstetric and neonatal care
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry monitoring
AWHONN staffing guidelines
