Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure the safety of both mom and baby
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision and care
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing your adaptability and clinical expertise
Collaborate with a supportive team that includes CNAs and surgical techs to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain the highest standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications preferred
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Critical thinking and clinical decision-making
Adaptability to float between LDRP, Med-Surg, and ER units
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
