Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments with real-time training support
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
Float to med/surg and PCU units while maintaining excellent care standards
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license required at submission

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
ICP monitoring
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Alaris IV pump familiarity
