Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics cases
Collaborate with a skilled surgical team in a fast-paced 16-suite operating room averaging 30 cases daily
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse duties arise
Float within Zone 1 facilities when extreme needs arise to support seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with proven Trauma and Neuro skills
Charge nurse experience preferred
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
Ability to handle high-acuity trauma and neuro cases
Comfortable with robotic-assisted procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Quick decision-making under pressure
