Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday rotating every other weekend or full weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
Assist with both routine and complex procedures including robotics cases using the DaVinci Xi system
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient care needs
Respond to call coverage within 30 minutes to handle urgent surgical needs
Maintain accurate documentation using SIS, Cerner, and EPIC systems

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
BLS certification required
Previous travel nursing experience essential
Comfortable with a variety of cases including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotics
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique
Familiarity with DaVinci Xi robotic systems
Experience with SIS, Cerner, or EPIC documentation systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to different surgical specialties and campuses
