Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 08-31-2026

End Date: 11-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including every other weekend and rotating holidays; may float to other campuses with 1-2 hour notice.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to observation and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips
Titrate drips such as Diltiazem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety
Perform SIMS lab skills including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Float to other campuses as needed with appropriate notice

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Level I Trauma experience required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (80% or higher)
Strong time management and communication skills
Willingness to complete SIMS lab and pass sterile field competency

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
MedSurg and observation nursing
Cerner EMR proficiency
IV therapy and titration of cardiac drips
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Floating and adaptability to different units
