Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, every 3rd weekend, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients
Monitor and manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Work in a supportive team environment on a 4-bed LDRP unit
Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control policies including artificial nails prohibition
Collaborate with charge nurse and medical staff to ensure optimal outcomes
Complete an open-book orientation exam with a 90% pass rate using provided resources

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of L&D experience (2+ preferred)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from AHA
EPIC charting experience
Valid driver's license to verify 50-mile radius compliance
Willingness to adhere to facility's no-artificial-nails policy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong labor and delivery nursing skills
Antepartum and postpartum care expertise
Newborn assessment and resuscitation
Proficient with Alaris IV pumps
Familiarity with medications like Pitocin and insulin
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care setting
