Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, days vary (36 hours per week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients of all ages
Manage ventilators and administer breathing treatments
Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient progress
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory health

Qualifications

Current Virginia Respiratory Therapist license required
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and airway care
Patient assessment and critical thinking
EKG interpretation and oxygen therapy
Adaptability in fast-paced environments
