Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 36 hours per week, various shift lengths and days (must be flexible)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor and assess patient condition, document progress
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on health management
Utilize EMR system (Meditech) and equipment like Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
2-10 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to float to other units as needed
Flexibility for night shifts and varying schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech EMR
Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing
Wound care and chest tube management
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork
