Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, brain tumor resection, and transplant surgeries
Partner closely with patients and families to support recovery and education
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and perform essential acute MedSurg interventions
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team including rehab physicians and therapists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Maintain sterile technique during procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS certification required
Strong MedSurg experience required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
Level 1 trauma experience required
Ability to complete pass/fail SIMs Lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Comfortable with high-level patient and family communication
Competent in sterile field maintenance and basic nursing skills
Experience with neuro population including TBI, CVA, and transplant patients
Team-oriented with flexibility to float across MedSurg units
